Anna received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from McGill University, and her Juris Doctor in Common Law from the University of Ottawa. She first qualified as a lawyer in Canada, where she was called to the Alberta bar in 2020. Anna worked at McLennan Ross LLP and practised a broad range of litigation including commercial, regulatory, and insurance law.
Upon arriving in England, Anna joined Imperial’s Research Contracts team for the Faculty of Engineering, where she regularly negotiated high-value contracts and supported many academics and departments. Anna has since obtained her UK legal qualification and is delighted to continue working at Imperial. Within the legal team, Anna advises Imperial on a range of legal issues including contracts, corporate and commercial affairs, and intellectual property law. Anna speaks fluent French and is regularly involved in amateur theatre.
