All Graduate Finance Analysts undertake a range of placements across the College. The following pages give examples of where a Graduate Finance Analyst might work, but all Analyts take an individual path through the scheme.
There are opportunities for placements in other Departments or Divisions not listed here; the scheme is flexible which enables it to best meet the needs of both the College and the Finance Graduate Analysts.
Placements in specific areas of work cannot be guaranteed but the Scheme Director takes into account the preferences and aspirations of the Analyst when allocating placements where possible.
The successful candidate may also be asked to get involved in other projects outside of their placements to support their development.
Central to the College's Finance function, the Financial Accounting team is responsible for the year end accounts and for managing the year end audit.
Imperial College Trust
The Imperial College Trust is an independent charity governed by a Board of Trustees, whose objectives include the promotion of charitable purposes for the benefit of the College and the support of research projects in connection with subjects taught at the College.
Graduate Finance Analysts on a placement in a Faculty Office will usually report direct to the Faculty Finance Officer. Faculty placements offer analysts an insight into the role of a Faculty within the College.
