2024 Assessment sessions will be either 08.30-12.30 or possibly 13.00-17.00.

 

ST3 and ST4 General Junior Assessment Dates (2023-24)

The ST3 and ST4 General Junior assessments will take place between Wednesday 18 and Tuesday 24 September inclusive. Trainees will be invited to attend for assessment on their usual teaching day and will be allocated to morning or afternoon on a first-come, first-served basis. 

• Group JM1 - Monday 23 September (AM & PM)
• Group JT1 - Tuesday 24 September (AM & PM)
• Group JW1 - Wednesday 18 September (AM & PM)
• Group JTh1 - Thursday 19 September (AM & PM)
• Group JF1 - Friday 20 September (AM & PM)

ST5 and ST6 (and ST4 Vascular) Assessment Dates (2023-24)

ST5 and ST6 assessments will take place according to the trainee's sub-specialty:-

• Breast Trainee Assessments - Tuesday 17 September (AM or PM)
• Colorectal Trainee Assessments - Thursday 5 September (AM & PM) or Friday 13 September (AM & PM)
• Transplant Trainee Assessments - TBC Monday 16 September (PM)
• Upper GI/HGB Trainee Assessments - Friday 6 September (AM & PM) or Thursday 12 September (AM & PM)
• Vascular Trainee Assessments - Tuesday 3 September (AM) or Monday 9 September (AM)

Please note that we are only able to offer one date for breast trainees. As these skills assessments are compulsory, all trainees are urged to book time away from their Trusts well in advance of the date.
