RadResearch is proud to present the second edition of the Unlocking Your Research Potential conference, scheduled for 10 February 2026 at Pentahotel, Reading

This exclusive, free event is organised by radiographers, for radiographers, and forms part of the NIHR-supported Incubator for Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiographers, with support from Imperial College Academic Health Science Centre.

Are you curious about research but unsure where to begin? Looking for ways to improve patient care, develop ideas, or take your research career further? Whether you’re considering entering research or already progressing, this conference is designed to support you at every stage.

Our aim is to stimulate, inspire, and guide radiographers to engage meaningfully with research — and potentially lead projects in the future. Over the course of the day, we’ll help you build confidence in research skills, navigate next steps, and understand what a clinical academic role could look like.

What’s On

We have invited top clinical researchers and academics to inform and inspire you with a programme that supports your development as a researcher. This exclusive, FREE conference, crafted by radiographers from across the country, offers a brilliant introduction to a clinical academic career.

We are seeking participants who can demonstrate a keen interest in clinical research and the potential to develop a clinical academic career in the medium to long term. Throughout the day, we will focus on building your confidence in research skills, providing essential information on furthering your participation in research, and offering advice on developing a clinical academic career.
