We aim to discover the quantitative rules that shape life across scales, from molecular noise inside cells to ecological dynamics. By integrating mechanistic modelling, artificial intelligence, and data-rich analysis, we develop both computational frameworks that reveal how biological systems emerge, adapt, and evolve; and tools to allow us to better control complex systems for improved human and ecosystem well-being.
