This April EYEC celebrated Easter. Throughout the week leading up to the Easter break the children took part in various Easter themed crafts and activities. To start off the celebrations the children helped create fun decorations that was displayed in their rooms and the entrance of the nursery.

This year the Easter bunny made an exciting appearance, creating an enjoyable Easter egg hunt in our garden for all the ages. The children had lots of fun exploring the garden and showing how well they were in finding the hidden eggs.

Next the children were involved in a grand Easter bonnet parade where they showcased their creative skills and wore their homemade Easter bonnets. All the bonnets were sensational and full of colour.

The children also took part making Easter cards and edible birds nest out of shredded wheat and melted chocolate which they took home! And of course, an Easter celebration is not complete without eating hot cross buns, the children enjoyed a delicious tea with hot cross buns and jam on the last day before the Easter Break.
