Important information for current visa holders
The UKVI have informed the University that they will shortly be starting a trial to inform people who are in the UK with expiring visas that their visa end-date is approaching and to plan their next steps. This pilot will include some students (and their family members, where relevant).
Reminder notifications will be sent by SMS text message and email to the contact details UKVI hold on record. The SMS text message may require the recipient to click a link to access the message, but will not ask for any personal, financial or login details to be entered. If you receive a message of this nature from UKVI but you have already left the UK, applied for or been granted a new visa please just disregard the message.
If your visa is due to expire and you haven’t yet planned your next steps, you can seek advice and guidance from the International Student Support Team on international@imperial.ac.uk
