Background for project
This project aims to refine, pilot, and prepare for sustainable rollout an I‑Explore module focused on contextualising the curriculum through EDI. Building on an earlier approved Student Shapers initiative, the project addresses feedback highlighting inconsistencies in tone, structure, and clarity across existing materials by standardising resources in line with Imperial learning design principles, co‑developing clear guidance for staff and students, and running a summer pilot with recruited students. Through shared decision‑making, structured feedback, and reflective review, the project will produce a fully refined, scalable module, pilot evidence on student engagement and usability, and an implementation guide to support wider departmental or institutional adoption from 2026–27.
