Project area: Curriculum Development
Background for project
The project aims to improve the Game Theory and Mechanism Design module’s relevance, accessibility and academic level by developing engineering‑focused case studies, strengthened computational and applied content, new tutorial exercises, and short digital learning resources, with exploratory use of generative AI. Informed by strong student demand, departmental curriculum review and industry relevance, the work will support upgrading the module from Level 6 to Level 7 for MSc students, ready for delivery in the 2026–27 academic year. The collaboration draws on academic expertise and recent student learning experience to ensure the redesign is pedagogically robust, student‑centred and aligned with Imperial’s Learning and Teaching Strategy, delivering sustainable benefits to both the department and student learning experience.
This project is due to run Summer 2026 – watch this space for outputs and outcomes!
