On 29 September 2021 the Centre for Systems Engineering and Innovation will host the yearly flagship Showcase event. The event celebrates the Centre’s research achievements during the previous year as well as our engagement with industry and policy. The event is also an occasion to hear from thought leaders in the fields relevant to Systems Engineering and Infrastructure and our research agenda. This year, we have focused our work on sustainability, resilience and the role of infrastructure in achieving a net-zero target. The event will focus on how climate change adaptation links with the transition to net-zero in the context of infrastructure with a particular focus on what COP26 might or, indeed, will imply.
