Our events are free and open to all, so whether you are looking to get hands-on with experiments or find out the most recent advances in science, our programme has something for you.

We now live-stream some of our lectures so that you can drop-in wherever you are in the world via our YouTube channel. Our public lectures are also available to view online via our catch-up service.

Annual and inaugural lectures

Each year we host a number of annual lectures named after some of our alumni, notable staff or generous donors, as well as a series of inaugural lectures for academics having recently been promoted to the role of Professor.

The Great Exhibition Road Festival and Imperial Lates

Our new summer Festival launched in 2019 after seven years of annual Imperial Festivals, and saw tens of thousands of visitors descending on South Kensington to enjoy a weekend celebration of art and Science. During term time, we also run smaller evening events specifically for adults called Imperial Lates.
