AB - The study of linear control systems in the state-space approach relies on the characterization of the input-to-state and state-to-output interactions. These are described via the so-called structural properties, which allow describing to what extent the internal state of the system can be manipulated by the selection of the input signal, and to what extent the internal state of the system can be learned from measurements of the output signal.
