PhD Milestones

Research Plan

The Research Plan should be completed 9-12 weeks after you have started your PhD.

Early Stage Assessment

The ESA must be completed 12 months (24 for part-time) after the start of your PhD.

The LSR must be completed 18-24 months (36 for part-time) after the start of your PhD.

PhD Milestones 2

Progress Review and Entering Writing Up Stage

Typically at the 36 month mark (72 for part time), students complete a Progress Review with their supervisor and enter the Writing Up period.
