AB - This paper provides a solution to the sparse control problem for linear two-input systems. This is achieved by developing a canonical form for sparse control and exploiting the theory of switched systems to design a sparse feedback law achieving asymptotic stability of the zero equilibrium of the closed-loop system. The results are illustrated through a simple case study.
