There are various Departmental and College contacts for Computing-related issues:
- For general computing issues related to your laptop or workstation, email and office applications, or network access please contact the ICT service desk.
- You may also be able to get help from the ICT Deskside Services Team, who run local drop-in sessions in buildings across the College. For more information on where these are located, visit the ICT service desk webpage.
- For information and queries relating to the departmental Linux environment or advice on purchasing, please email aero.computing@imperial.ac.uk.
- For queries relating to the Departmental website (and Research Group Websites) please contact the Departmental Communications and Events Manager.
Feedback: Your Department, Your Voice
We’re always looking for ways that we can make the Department better and no matter what your role, your ideas on how we can do that are always welcome. So if there’s something that you can think of that would make your working life easier, or you discovered a way to make something work that you think should be part of our standard practice or shared with other colleagues, we’d love to hear about it.
There’s currently no magic wand, available additional space or unlimited budget so please don’t ask for the impossible and we will do our very best with the rest. It is unlikely that all ideas and feedback can be implemented but we will at least provide feedback to everything that comes through.
All submissions will go through to Siân Haynes who will make sure the relevant team(s) take this forward and will provide feedback to you. So that feedback or updates can be provided, we won’t be accepting anonymous submissions but there will be an option to let Siân know if you would like her to treat your submission anonymously.

This of course is just one way to share your thoughts and ideas and Spencer or your staff directors, reps and champions would always be really happy to hear from you.
