Our five MEng courses offer the best possible training to enable the development of analytical skills, in addition to gaining familiarity with the latest computational methods. Via laboratory exercises and in-depth projects, analytical predictions are confirmed using experimentally-obtained data. There is therefore an appropriate emphasis on developing experimental techniques using well-equipped laboratories and other facilities. The Department participates in the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme UROP scheme.
