You can request a module swap if:

  • You've changed your mind about your modules
  • There is a timetabling clash between your modules

You can check if there is a timetabling clash between your chosen modules on CELCAT. Make sure you are logged in and that you have set the 'type' filter to modules, then search for the module name.

Module swaps are only available between Monday 28th September and Monday 19th October. Please note there is an earlier deadline if you wish to swap onto a EEE IDX module - you must submit your request by Thursday 8th October.

We will not consider any late requests.

Exchange students

Advanced Stream

  • You can request a swap to any of the ME3 or ME4 modules listed above
  • You can request a swap to any Year 3 or Year 4 Imperial Horizons module

Intermediate Stream

  • You can request a swap to any of the Intermediate Stream modules listed in the Exchange Students module selection guide which you were sent earlier this year
  • You can request a swap to any Year 2 Imperial Horizons module

Restrictions

  • Students taking the Advanced Stream may choose up to two non-engineering modules
  • Students taking the Intermediate Stream may choose up to one non-engineering modules
  • Students on both streams can take up to 60 ECTS (or 62.5 ECTS with an Imperial Horizons language module)

Make sure that you will not exceed the maximum ECTS or non-engineering modules before you submit your module swap request.
