This team designed an accessible telemetry system for the Imperial College Boat club through combined student and staff-led developments. The members of the team are keen rowers themselves. Rowing is a highly competitive sport in which high boat velocity is the ultimate goal. This is achieved through an optimal combination of good technique, coordination and high power translation. Telemetry offers a competitive advantage as a performance measurement tool, allowing such parameters to be measured on the water.
