iCARE operates the Imperial Secure Data Environment (SDE), a secure platform enabling approved researchers, clinicians and analysts to use anonymised health data to support research and improve healthcare.

It brings together large-scale NHS and care datasets, including data from Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust's five hospitals and linked data from across North West London, all while protecting patient confidentiality.
