The NHS is one of the world’s most complex healthcare systems. Improving care requires organisations to work across traditional boundaries, yet expertise, data and innovation can often remain siloed within individual teams and institutions.
iCARE brings people, technology and data together across NHS and academic settings. Uniquely positioned between the NHS and academia, we connect partners and expertise to create new opportunities for collaboration, research and innovation around shared challenges.

There isn't one way to work with us
Health and care challenges rarely fit neatly within one sector. The most interesting opportunities can come from bringing different perspectives, expertise and experience together.
Have an idea, challenge or opportunity? Tell us what you're trying to achieve. iCARE can help connect you with the people, expertise and opportunities that could take it further.

Working with health and care data
Health and care data can be a powerful resource for research and innovation. But it is sensitive data, and access is not simply a commercial service.
Any proposed use of data must go through the appropriate governance, legal and ethical checks. Access is granted to approved projects for approved purposes - not simply because an organisation has requested it.
