Availability and access to formal mentoring schemes vary across Imperial. If there is no formal mentoring scheme currently available to you, it may still be possible for you to find a mentor.

• Talk to your line manager or another experienced person in your department/area of work. They may be able to recommend someone and may also be willing to test out someone’s interest in becoming a mentor and broker the relationship for you.
• Departmental managers and administrators also have a wealth of contacts.
• Professional Services staff within Natural Sciences and Engineering can access the Professional Services Mentoring scheme.
