About the College Events Network

The College Events Network is open to staff of all levels across the College who deliver events as part of their role. The aims of the Network are to foster collaboration, discuss shared challenges and identify solutions, and encourage knowledge sharing, best practice and joined up thinking.

The network meets termly in a hybrid format and members have the opportunity to submit agenda items, discussion topics and questions in advance. At each gathering there is chance for informal networking with colleagues.

Outside of our termly meetings, the College Events Network members communicate primarily via the MS Teams site. To become a member, please request to join the Teams site using that link.

The College Events Network is led by the Institutional Events team primarily, with input from a core group of Network leaders made up of representatives from other key teams across the College who facilitate or support event delivery in some way:

  • ICT
  • Campus Services
  • Communications (Digital Media Production)

The first meeting will take place on Wednesday 14 December from 12.00-13.30. Please make sure you join the Teams site above to receive further information. Festive refreshments will be provided!
