The Imperial Technicians' Network is for all staff in the technical job family and aims to build links, explore areas of common ground and highlight opportunities for personal and professional development. It encourages an exchange of resources, knowledge, and experience through a regular newsletter and events for technical staff.
Spring Term Technical Managers' Forum: Sustainability
The Technicians’ Network is delighted to be welcoming Professor Paul Lickiss, Imperial’s first Academic Leader in Sustainability, as guest speaker at our Spring Term Technical Managers’ Fora, taking place at South Kensington on 28 January (14:00 to 15:30) and at Hammersmith on 3 March (14:00 to 15:30). Imperial is committed to improving its sustainability and technicians have a key part to play in helping to ‘green’ our workshop and laboratory practices. Professor Lickiss, who took up his new post in November, will be talking us through the College’s sustainability agenda and we will explore the important role of Technical Services.
