The objective of this device is to be incorporated into a greater project, where the ultimate goal is to develop a gold-standard for minimally invasive neurosurgery. This requires pushing the boundaries to regions of the brain not previously reachable. The surgeon would be able to use an intuitive force feedback control to sense their position by hand, when visual guidance is not possible.
