What was the most beneficial things about the programme

Being exposed to so many different research problems and approaches taught me about the field of surgical technology as a whole and helped me figure out the path I wanted to follow. 

What are your main areas of interest in Medical Robotics

I am interested in developing imaging tools so we can visualize characteristics of biological tissues not visible to the human eye, like cellular structures and tissue organization.

What was the title of your dissertation

Multispectral Bidirectional Polarisation Imaging in Endoscopy

What was the most important outcome of my research

I got a crash course in optics!

Since you got your degree, what have you done in education

I have continued my graduate education and am currently working towards a doctorate.

What would you like to do next

Implement new imaging tools and processing techniques in commercial systems, so they can move into clinical use.
