NHLI ARC Guidance
The Annual Review Conversation (ARC) process occurs annually between February and April at the NHLI:
- Staff submit ARCs online and line managers schedule a time for the meeting
- At the meeting the pre-submitted material sets the agenda and discussion points highlighted in the “NHLI ARC guidance sheets” are also raised
- Staff summarise the meeting and agree on actions with the line manager
Completed ARC forms should be submitted via ARC Form Online and also to NHLI ARC Inbox.

- Independent research fellows
- Postdoctoral research staff
- Research assistants
- Technical (PTO) staff
- Professional services staff (PTO)
