Annual lectures and Imperial Inaugurals

Each year we host a number of annual lectures named after some of our alumni, notable staff or generous donors, as well as a series of inaugural lectures for academics having recently been promoted to the role of Professor.

The Great Exhibition Road Festival and Imperial Lates

Our new summer Festival launched in 2019 after seven years of annual Imperial Festivals, and saw tens of thousands of visitors descending on South Kensington to enjoy a weekend celebration of art and Science. During term time, we also run smaller evening events specifically for adults called Imperial Lates.
