Gemma Ball

Gemma is an experienced commercial property solicitor who joined Imperial in 2025. Before joining the team, Gemma spent over eight years in private practice, working in a fast-paced commercial environment advising on transactions predominantly across London and East Anglia. Her work focused on advising a broad range of clients on complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters, land development and strategic property portfolio management.

Gemma brings a practical and solutions-focused approach to legal advice, shaped by her experience in navigating high-value and time-sensitive property deals. At Imperial, she supports the Estates team on a wide range of legal matters, including property strategy, development projects, and sustainability initiatives.

She is particularly passionate about helping the Imperial achieve its long-term sustainability goals, ensuring that legal frameworks are aligned with environmental ambitions and operational needs.
