Our MSc courses are accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for registration as a Chartered Engineer. Candidates must hold a CEng accredited BEng/BSc (Hons) undergraduate first degree to comply with full CEng registration requirements.
Our accreditation agreement with the IET is renewed every four years. The current accreditation agreement is due to be renewed for students starting their studies in the 2029-30 academic year.
Our MSc in Sensor Systems Engineering will be submitted for accreditation by the IET upon the graduation of the first cohort in 2025-26.
