A Research Associate position is available in the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London within the Ultrasound Laboratory for Imaging and Sensing of Prof. Mengxing Tang (https://www.imperial.ac.uk/people/mengxing.tang).

You will contribute to 3D ultrasound flow imaging, in collaboration with University of Leeds.

Duties and responsibilities

The project involves development of methodologies for cardiac 3D flow imaging and quantification with contrast enhanced ultrasound. This will require experiences in data acquisition and processing related to ultrasound imaging.

Essential requirements

You should hold, or be about to receive a PhD, and have relevant skills and experience as described above. Researchers will be expected to play an active role in the group, writing papers and giving presentations, helping to write grant proposals, mentoring students and setting an example for others.

This is a full-time, fixed term position, for up to 24 months in the first instance, with a possibility of extension.

*Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as Research Assistant within the salary range £ £36,694- £39,888 per annum.
