An opportunity has arisen for you to support the research activities of Professor Amanda Cross in the Cancer Screening and Prevention Research Group (CSPRG) based at the St Mary’s Campus of Imperial College London, located in Paddington.

Duties and responsibilities

You will work within an internationally-renowned multidisciplinary group undertaking research into the prevention and early detection of colorectal cancer, the second biggest cancer killer in the developed world. Joining a friendly, highly motivated team, you will be involved in several clinical research projects funded by the UK Government and charities.

Essential requirements

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager with a degree and previous experience working in a role with similar responsibilities, preferably in a research environment or research funding organisation. Knowledge of project management best practice, budget management skills and the ability to produce concise written material for scientific or administrative purposes to tight deadlines are essential. Experience in project management methodology, familiarity with the research environment and clinical governance would be advantageous.

The post is full time and fixed-term until 31st December 2020 in the first instance.
