This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to develop their career in a busy teaching and research environment. We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and meticulously organised applicants, with relevant administrative experience within an education setting to provide high level support to the School of Public Health’s postgraduate on-campus Masters programmes.

 

Duties and responsibilities

The focus of the role will be on providing support for the existing and highly successful on-campus postgraduate Masters programmes (namely the Master of Public Health, MSc in Epidemiology and MSc in Health Data Analytics and Machine Learning). You will work closely with the PG Education Coordinator (On-campus), the academic and teaching/education staff internally, to help deliver the highest quality of education and student experience. You will also support key developments in the curriculum that will underpin enhancements year on year to the programmes.

Your excellent communication and organisation skills will be put to use as you:

  • Provide overall administrative support for the teaching delivery and student experience, including ensuring appropriate information, materials and teaching support is provided with continuity across the programmes;
  • Support module leaders in the set-up, delivery of their modules, and all related activities;
  • Ensure all assessment and feedback information and arrangements are rigorously prepared for and communicated to students.

 

Essential requirements

You will need a good level of education or equivalent experience and have experience of working to support teaching/education delivery, ideally in an education setting, and ideally for postgraduate provision.

Further information

The post is full-time and permanent starting as soon as possible. The post will be based at the St Mary’s Campus, Paddington, with occasional travel to other campuses required when needed.
