Duties and responsibilities

The Tissue Bank, funded by the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Parkinson’s UK, has high international standing and serves to co-ordinate the collection of human tissue and its distribution to multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s research groups. Such tissue plays a key role in research to help understand the pathological processes, to develop new treatments and ultimately to find a cure or prevention.

Essential requirements

We are looking to employ a skilled administrator capable of maintaining a positive and friendly image by acting as the first line of contact to donors and tissue users in person, online and via telephone. The potential candidates should ensure a proper flow of office procedures and be experienced in using finance systems. Previous experience of working in a biobank would be an advantage. The position is funded until 30th June 2024.
