Duties and responsibilities
You will develop the theoretical background for elastic and mechanical metasurfaces based around asymptotic, semi-analytic and numerical models for thin plates and substrates structured with pillars. In addition, you will be involved in scientific computation and numerical simulations that lead to physical and mathematical understanding and theoretical results.
Please see the job description for further information
You are required to hold a PhD (or equivalent) in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or a subject relevant to the project.
