MRes in Molecular Engineering

Please search "Molecular Engineering" to find the course.

The Institute for Molecular Science and Engineering’s MRes programme has been successfully running since 2017. To celebrate all your hard work we have created an alumni network. Once you have graduated, you are immediately part of our bright, innovative and varied alumni community. Being part of this community opens you up to many benefits:

Invitations to our alumni-only events

Our alumni events are prestigious gatherings aimed to celebrate our MRes alumni. Events range from online gatherings, to in person celebration dinners, social nights and much more. As an alumnus you will have the opportunity to network with previous IMSE cohort and be invited to other events for networking opportunities.

"What really excited me about this Institute was the fact that it is interdisciplinary, and I felt like it was a good opportunity for me to expand my horizon and gain insight into different types of backgrounds, skills and gain exposure to fields that otherwise I wouldn't have any contact with." Allison Arber, MRes alumna

LinkedIn alumni group

Share your career highlights and news on our LinkedIn page. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your success with a wider audience. You will also receive updates on any IMSE news on the LinkedIn group page.

Mentoring programme

This is a fantastic opportunity to mentor those who are currently taking the IMSE MRes course. If you sign up for the mentorship programme you will be assigned an MRes course member to mentor and give advice during their course. This is a rewarding opportunity to guide a current student through their studies.

Alumni newsletter

Our Alumni Newsletter is sent out quarterly and highlights the fantastic work and achievements of our alumni network.
