Undaunted encompasses our work across climate innovation, within academic science, industry, and business, and also across broader critical contexts, such as policy and societal engagement. Undaunted isbbuilding a global community, based in central London, of people with exciting ideas that tackle the climate crisis in sustainable, viable, equitable and scalable ways.

The Grantham Institute – Climate Change and the Environment, and its activities under Undaunted, have been running innovation support for almost a decade. We were a founding partner of the Climate Knowledge Innovation Community (Climate-KIC). This resulted in the development of a number of innovation programmes, including the Climate-KIC Accelerator, Climate Launchpad, The Journey, The Greenhouse and many others.

Short executive programme: Accelerating to Net Zero Emissions
This six-week online programme will introduce you to the foundations of climate science and its applications for combating climate change. You will explore recent climate innovation case studies, and will develop new frameworks and strategies for leading impact-driven initiatives that drive business value, and create a carbon-neutral world. You will finish the programme prepared to implement your learnings, and with a verified Digital Certificate from Imperial College Business School Executive Education.

Innovation in policy
Undaunted is part of the Climate-tech Policy Coalition, which is on a mission to help unlock a future of green growth.
From June to October 2022, the Coalition undertook an intensive series of roundtables with entrepreneurs and startups covering nine critical sectors, with the aim of equipping policymakers and regulators with tangible steps towards a low-carbon and lucrative economy. A Snapshot into UK Climate-tech Innovation (PDF) report was published in December 2022.
