Summary
The Grantham Institute is Imperial College London’s hub for climate change and the environment. Established in 2007 under the directorship of our current chair, Professor Sir Brian Hopkins, we bring together world-leading research, education and innovation to drive effective action on the climate and nature crises.
From supporting academics to develop pioneering research, to nurturing early-stage climate tech startups; from informing policy at the highest level, to training the next generation of environmental leaders, we are dedicated to shaping a cleaner, greener, more resilient future.
We work across five pillars: Research, Policy, Education, Innovation and Communications. In this brochure, you’ll discover more about our work, the people behind it and the impact we’re making.
