Space Database Update
Description
To enable the end users of the construction works/change being undertaken to be able to manage their new space, the revised layout plans for the project scope area are to be updated on Imperial's Space Management system. Waiting for handover and record documentation can sometimes delay users being able to manage their areas within the space management system. Therefore, it is imperative that the Building Information team keep an up-to-date database of all the buildings and the layouts within to ensure the end users of the revised space have full visibility in the space management system at completion.
Engagement
During RIBA Stage 5, the Project Manager must request from the Contractor the final confirmed Architectural GA floor plans being implemented as part of their construction project before Completion and Handover.
The PM is to send these final, confirmed Architectural GA floor plans to the Buildign Information Team via cadcompliance@imperial.ac.uk
