Caroline Ganzer from the Centre for Environmental Policy and Centre for Process Systems Engineering explores the role and value of inter-seasonal grid-scale energy storage in deep decarbonisation.
Caroline is a PhD candidate at Imperial. Her research is focused on integrated modelling of the decarbonisation of power, heat, transport and industry in the UK. In addition to her academic work, Caroline has worked at BASF (China), the Fraunhofer Institute (Germany), and Volkswagen (Germany) and has been active as a consultant to the public and private sector since 2018.
UKCCSRC web series
