High Performance Computing (HPC) and Interactive Computing

The Research Computing Service (RCS) provides access to HPC resources and support to any researcher at Imperial College London.
RCS also provides several web-based services that enable interactive work to be carried out on HPC systems, including JupyterHub and RStudio via Open OnDemand

Research Data Store (RDS) and Research Data Facility (RDF)

The Research Data Store (RDS) is the current central service for storing large volumes of research data. It is in the process of being replaced, and data moved to the new Research Data Facility (RDF)

HEX Platforms

The HEX platforms and the concept of six distinct areas were developed when the CX platforms were under consideration for replacement. The diagram below shows the basic plan for these platforms and followed by a high level overview of each one. We are currently working on more in-depth pages to allow you to access more information and get involved in the community.
