Dean’s Graduation Reception: Celebrating our most recent alumni

Earlier this month, we had the chance to formally welcome our most recent alumni to the community at the Business School’s graduation. As part of the celebrations, we held our annual Dean’s Graduation Reception, marking the first time Professor Peter Todd, Dean of the Business School had hosted the occasion.
The Dean’s Graduation Reception is one of the highlights in the alumni events calendar, and this year was no exception. Hosted by Professor Peter Todd, Dean of the Business School, the evening celebrated our June 2025 graduates who had received academic prizes, were awarded community awards, featured on the Dean’s List, or had engaged as volunteers throughout their studies.
Over 100 guests joined us at the Royal Geographical Society’s stunning Grade II* listed building. With the Business School’s graduation taking place the day before, the evening gave our new graduates the chance to continue the festivities, and officially mark their transition from Imperial students to alumni.

Postcards of Wisdom
We asked attendees to complete ‘Postcards of Wisdom, sharing their inspiring advice with the next generation of Imperial students.
These are some of our favourites:
‘Helping others learn is the best way to learn more and make friends!’
‘Be curious, take challenges hands on, remember growth begins at the end of your comfort zone.’
‘Stay consistent and push yourself – it pays off’
‘Hi former student self. This one year is going to be life changing. Make sure to cherish each bit and form life-long bonds along the way.’
‘Fight the good fight and never give up.’

Congratulations to everyone who graduated – we look forward to keeping in touch!
