Have you lost your transcript? Are you interested in finding out how to keep in touch with the Business School? Here are some of the most commonly asked questions we receive from alumni. If you cannot find the answer you are looking for, please do not hesitate to get in touch on alumni-business@imperial.ac.uk.
Recent Alumni
Find the answers to your questions as you prepare to finish your studies and join the alumni community. You can learn more on Imperial’s website.
Once you have received your degree results (normally a few months after you have finished your course) you automatically become a member of our alumni community. We will send you a welcome email shortly afterwards with details on how you can make the most of your benefits, attend events and more. You can find details of what happens as you transition to become an alumnus on the Imperial Alumni page.
Your student email account will remain active for up to six months after the end date of your course. Your access to Insendi will expire at the same time as your student email address.
Once your account has been disabled, all data will be deleted within six months, and you will not be able to retrieve any files, documents or emails. We encourage you to download anything you want to keep as soon as possible when your programme ends.
If you wish to enquire about backing up the contents of, or accessing your student account, please contact the ICT Helpdesk so they can assist you. You can contact the ICT Helpdesk on +44(0) 20 7594 9000 or log a ticket on the ASK Customer Portal (External login), details can be found on the Imperial webpage.
We would love to keep in touch with you after you have completed your course! The best way to keep in touch is by making sure we have your most up to date contact details. We will use the information you provide on this form to send you news and events which are tailored to you, your career and where you are living.

Transcripts and certificates
Find the answers to your questions about replacing your documents and proof of study.
If you graduated before 2007- All Imperial College London degrees awarded prior to 2007 were conferred by the University of London. As a result, you are advised to contact the University of London directly to request a replacement degree certificate. Replacement certificate enquiries are handled by the Diploma Production Office. If you graduated between 2007 and 2020- To request documents relating to your studies at Imperial College London, you will need to register online first. Once you have registered, you will be able to access the Alumni document request form from the ASK customer facing service portal.
If you graduated after 2020- you can request your documents through registering a new account using your personal email address on the e-documents portal to access your documents.

You can find your CID on communications from the Alumni Engagement Office. For example, it could be found on the top right corner in the emails we send you.
If you are unable to find it, please contact alumni-business@imperial.ac.uk with your full name, date of birth, subject of study, entry year, and graduation year so we could find it for you.
The Alumni Engagement team cannot supply personal references. If you would like an Academic reference you should contact your former teacher directly. If you require an official letter then you can contact Student Records.
Alumni benefits

As an Imperial alumnus you can access a range of perks, discounts and benefits. If you studied for a Joint Hours degree you can still access careers support through Imperial.
As an alumnus you are invited to use the Alumni Visitor Centre (AVC), which is located next to the Business School entrance on the ground floor. Open to all Imperial alumni, the Centre offers you space to work, relax, and network.
Our library facilities are open to alumni. Find out how to apply for full alumni membership of the library.
You can also access discounted gym membership, as well as the ground floor College Café during opening hours.
Please note, your Business School student ID and access card will be de-activated on the expiry date printed on the card.

Please note, you can only access this benefit once you have received your 'welcome' email from the Alumni Relations Office. This will usually take up to a couple of months after your have completed your studies.

You can choose which communications you receive from us. If you opt into Department e-newsletter communications on our form, then we will send you a monthly newsletter from the Business School. Please note, due to Data Protection laws, we are unable to pass on details of members of your cohort without their permission. However, we are able to facilitate contact, by emailing classmates a message on their behalf.
We run a year-round programme of in-person, hybrid and virtual events, offering a number of ways for you to learn and connect with the Business School. We advertise our events on our website, as well as sending email invites. To be the first to hear about upcoming events make sure you sign up to our newsletter.
