The Alumni Advisory Council represents our global community of nearly 40,000 alumni. They are some of the Business School’s strongest advocates and play a vital role in supporting our strategic initiatives and alumni activity. We strive for the Council to be representative of our alumni body, with a diverse range of graduation years, industry, programme of study and geographical locations. We are proud that our new cohort joining the Council represent four continents and nine different Business School programmes.
Celebrating the new Council members, Rebecca Martin, Head of Alumni Engagement (Business School), said:
“I am delighted to welcome our new Alumni Advisory Council members. All thirteen alumni have already been contributing to the School in a variety of ways, and I am so pleased they have all agreed to continue that support for the Business School and all of you – our alumni. I know that they will be fantastic representatives for the community.”
They will be joining current members, Joanne Linder (Full-Time MBA 1996), Elynor Chiu (Full-Time MBA 2011), Salwa Darraj (MSc Economics & Strategy for Business 2014), Andrew Fernando (MSc Finance 2007), Yann Helle (Weekend Executive MBA 2010), Adrian Matze (MSc Risk Management and Financial Engineering 2014), Roya Rahnejat (MSc Risk Management 2007) and Melanie York (Full-Time MBA) 1993).
In May 2025, Josh Liu (Full-Time MBA 2005), Victoria Reanney (Executive MBA 2005) and Tennessee Watt (MSc Management 2028) completed their terms as Alumni Advisory Council members. We are incredibly grateful for all the support they have given the Business School and alumni community. Chair of the Council, Joanne Linder (Full-Time MBA 1996) will be stepping down in October 2025, and the process to find a new chair is ongoing.
