Event details
The Climate Risk Management and Analytics Workshop is organised by Enrico Biffis (Imperial College London) in memoriam of Professor Ken Seng Tang (Nanyang Business School) with support from the Brevan Howard Centre for Financial Analysis, the Sustainable Tech Lab at I-X, the Singapore Green Finance Centre, The Centre for Climate Finance and Investment, and the Leverhulme Centre for Wildfires, Environment and Society. This one-day event is being hosted on the 3rd July 2023 at the Berkeley Hotel, Knightsbridge, London.
As climate-related research is attracting growing interest from a number of disciplines, it is imperative to ground novel research on robust scientific evidence and methodology. The workshop will bring together experts from different fields to discuss recent findings on emission metrics, physical/transition risk assessment and financial innovation for climate risk adaptation and mitigation. The workshop honours the memory of Prof. Ken Seng Tan (Nanyang Business School), a talented colleague who left us too soon while developing a joint research agenda on climate risk management and analytics.
