First in the UK for world-leading research.
As part of the programme, you’ll combine highly relevant and structured training with our Master’s in Research (MRes) programme focusing on specialist modules and core research skills. Over the course of one or two years, depending on your chosen research area, the MRes will provide you with a solid foundation for your academic career.
Students undertaking a PhD at Imperial College Business School will be taught and supervised by leading academics in their field. Every student on our Doctoral programme is offered full funding, including a full tuition fee waiver (Home/EU or Overseas fees) plus a living stipend for up to five years. Funding for a 6th year can be considered on a case by case basis, with the potential to undertake a teaching or research assistant studentship with one of the Business Schools research centres. As part of our funded programme, we provide opportunities for students to act as teaching assistants. This allows students to have teaching experience on their CVs when they enter the job market. We also provide high quality training in how to teach.
