Your London advantage

Our location in one of the world’s most visible and progressive cities puts you at the epicentre of the action. Being in London means you’ll be enviably placed to make the city your own both during and after your MBA.

You will be taught across our beautiful campuses at the heart of South Kensington and an innovation hub at our new White City campus. Throughout your programme, our Careers team will facilitate networking opportunities with London’s leading employers, and speakers from leading organisations in London will visit our campus to deliver teaching.

London Tech trek

Part of your MBA programme is the new London Tech Trek - a two-day tour of the most innovative startups and future-focused corporations in town; focusing on digital transformation and how to disrupt in an ever-evolving landscape.

An MBA with a purpose

At Imperial, we have re-imagined our MBA to serve your desire for purpose, and to help you instil purpose into the organisations you join, or your ventures as an entrepreneur.

Leading responsibly

Our newly created LEADS module* covers the fundamentals of leadership and the challenges that must be overcome in ethics, inclusivity and sustainability to become a responsible leader.

This is complemented by the Personal Leadership Journey and the support of your dedicated careers consultant to help you reflect on your own strengths and areas for development, as well as implementing your personal action plan for achieving your career ambitions and facilitating connections to make this happen.

Follow your own MBA path

We’ve introduced new features to the Full-Time MBA so that you can personalise your programme to your career goals and interests. Flexcore modules*, which follow a set of core modules, allow you to begin tailoring your studies. Our wide portfolio of electives enable further customisation. If you have a set career in mind, you can opt to study a specialism* in analytics, entrepreneurship or finance, and choose your flexcore modules and electives according to your area of specialism.

For those who want greater flexibility in their programme, you can follow a general management pathway where you can choose flexcore modules and electives as you please.

Create a meaningful network

An MBA is not a solo endeavour. Throughout the programme you’ll be supported by our experienced, thought-leading faculty, and build bonds for life with your fellow students in an intimately sized cohort.

The boutique class size of the Full-Time MBA at Imperial means that you will get to know everyone personally in the class, and each student will have meaningful interactions with faculty.

Learning in practice

Imperial is one of the leading universities in the world with the strongest connections to industry. At the Business School, a philosophy of practical learning and immersive experiences is embedded into the programme – allowing you to develop real-world skills.

Project-based learning

As part of the Full-Time MBA, you’ll have the opportunity to study one of two projects that focus on building your teamwork skills in a real-world setting. The Strategic Consulting Project will see you working on a live client project, the perfect chance to put your skills into practice before heading back into industry. Budding entrepreneurs or those looking to develop their innovation skills can choose the Entrepreneurial Journey, where you’ll ideate your own startup, or collaborate with Imperial College or Royal College of the Arts students to launch their idea or prototype.

Immersive learning

During the programme, there are multiple immersive learning opportunities where you will explore real-world business challenges. From the aforementioned Imperial Innovation Challenge where you’ll learn from STEM researchers at the College to formulate an impactful solution, to the London Tech Trek exploring the latest in technology and innovation in London, these learning activities will strengthen your understanding of business, innovation and responsible leadership.

To connect the dots between your MBA learnings at the end of the programme, you will undertake an Internship or Individual Project for an organisation of your choosing
