Making the most of your summer in London

Studying in London is an exciting opportunity to explore the diverse and abundant social and cultural activities, and an ideal location from which to explore the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe. That’s why when you join Summer School at Imperial College Business School, we encourage you to get involved in a host of social and cultural activities that we organise for you to enjoy alongside your studies. Sometimes the best networking takes place outside the classroom!

Please note that activities and trips are not included in the course fees and you will need to pay additional costs.

Please see details of the 2018 social programme below:

Session one

The Book of Mormon is a satirical musical with book, lyrics, and music by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, and Matt Stone. Best known for creating the animated comedy South Park, Parker and Stone co-created the music with Lopez, a co-composer/co-lyricist of Avenue Q. The Book of Mormon tells the story of two young Mormon missionaries sent to a remote village in northern Uganda, where a brutal warlord is threatening the local population. Naïve and optimistic, the two missionaries try to share the Book of Mormon, one of their scriptures—which only one of them has read—but have trouble connecting with the locals, who are more worried about war, famine, poverty, and AIDS than about religion.  Winner of 9 Tony Awards and 4 Olivier Awards, this show is not to be missed!

All the social events were meticulously planned and were chosen wonderfully. I enjoyed the trip to the Harry Potter Studios and the musical 'Mamma Mia' the most. The Boat party was a lovely addition and helped us to meet people from the other courses.

I loved the trip to Cambridge where I got to explore the famous University of Cambridge along with many other prestigious colleges. The trip to Brighton was also one of the best moments of the course.
