CMBOR director Mike Wright’s forthcoming publication shows private equity is still on the up
The Centre for Management Buy-out and Private Equity Research (CMBOR) was the first centre of its kind devoted to the study of private equity and buy-outs. Founded in March 1986 at the Nottingham University Business School, it moved to the Imperial College Business School in 2011.

The Centre monitors and analyses management buy-outs, with and without private equity investment, in a comprehensive and objective way. This private equity research group is regarded as the pre-eminent provider of private equity statistics for Europe and is supported by Equistone Partners Europe (formerly Barclays Private Equity) and Investec Bank.
