The Employee Relations (ER) team manages formal procedures for disciplinary and grievance issues, and advises on restructuring, change management, and redundancies. The team also manages Imperial's internal mediation service and takes forward facilitated conversations to resolve disputes informally. The team supports decision makers (such as disciplinary panel chairs) in ER cases, providing expert advice and guidance on employee relations issues to all faculties and support services.
The People Function Policy team is responsible for developing policies and procedures and working with stakeholders across the university to ensure they are effective, compliant with Imperial policy and strategy, and meet any legal or regulatory requirements.
The Employee Relations and People Function Policy team is based at Level 1 MediaWorks, 191 Wood Lane, London W12 7FP, and is led by Rebecca Hedges, Director - Employee Relations and Policy.
