The Teaching Promotions Committee supports the recognition and reward of excellence in teaching, educational leadership and educational innovation across Imperial.
Applications must be submitted via the Teaching Promotions Application Form (Microsoft Forms). Candidates and Heads of Department are expected to review the guidance documents and supporting resources below before submitting an application.
The Resources section includes role profiles, guidance documents, and a Word version of the application form to support preparation.
The Briefing section details the session to be hosted by the Vice Provost (Education and Student Experience), Alan Spivey, some of the Teaching Promotions Committee, and representatives from the People Function. This will provide an overview of the process and answer prospective applicants' questions.

A facsimile of this form is available as a Word document for help with preparation; however, this document will not be accepted in lieu of the online form.
Departments must use the online Department Referee Nomination Form (Microsoft Forms) by the published deadline.
Departments must submit a Head of Department Citation for all applications. The citation should be jointly written by the Head of Department and, where applicable, the senior member of staff with responsibility for Education.
